Every year the Syracuse Nationals come to town and draw tens of thousands of people to the area. Liverpool has the benefit of having multiple hotels along 7th North Street in the Station 2 first due. Every year the members of the Liverpool Fire Dept get together for a 2 night event to cook out, play games, and watch the old school hot rods cruise up and down 7th North St. This year we invited the Mattydale Fire Dept to come and enjoy the evening with us. The camaraderie between both departments truly defines the word brotherhood. Crews responded to 1 call in district this evening. Saturday night we will again have crews at Station 2 doing the same thing! People are more than welcome to stop by and get a tour of the fire trucks!
