Just before noon on Tuesday Engine 3 was dispatched mutual aid to the Clay Fire Department for a garage fire on Maple Rd. The call originally came in as a fire alarm activation which was quickly upgraded when Engine 31 (Clay FD) arrived and found a large garage on fire. Engine 3 (FF Mahar) responded with 4 and arrived 3rd due. The crew assisted with overhaul and extinguishment while operating on scene. After picking up supply line, the company was returned to service just over an hour after dispatch.
