With the heavy snow wrapping up, we wanted to remind everyone to please keep your hydrants clear! When seconds count, having a readily accessible hydrant is a key factor. If you have a hydrant in your yard, and you can safely clear it, please do. If you have a neighbor that may not be able to clear their's, please lend them a hand and clear it.

We will do our best to help those that are unable to clear a hydrant in their yard! If you see us out, please SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER!

As a reminder, there is still an active overnight parking ban in the Town of Salina (refer to Town of Salina website for details). This parking ban is in place to ensure that the DPW can do their job and clear the streets. It also serves as a dual purpose to allow firetrucks to pass down narrowed streets due to snow!
