Earlier today Liverpool FD was dispatched to an signal 80(vehicle collision with injuries) at Buckley Road and Elwood Davis Rd. Car 4(D/C Laakso) arrived to find a 2 vehicle T-Bone accident with one person trapped in the drivers seat. Engine 2(FF Manley) arrived and started stabilizing the vehicle and attending to the hazards of the vehicles. Rescue 1 (FF Pernice) arrived shortly after, putting two hydraulic tools to work to remove the drivers door to gain access to the patient. With the drivers door removed, the patient was packaged, extricated, and turned over to AMR.
The Rescue arrived 6 minutes after dispatch, and had the patient extricated within 3 minutes of arrival.
