Car Fire on Chestnut Hill

Just before 14:00 hours Liverpool was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Chestnut Hill Drive. Car 4 (D/C Laakso) arrived to find a sedan with an active engine compartment fire on the side of the road. Engine 1 (LT. Warren) arrived, stretched the bumper line and had water on the fire within seconds. The fire was quickly extinguished, the vehicle was not occupied during the incident. The cause of the is under investigation by the Onondaga County OEM.
