Monday night Liverpool Fire Department along with Moyers Corners and Solvay trained in water rescue operations. The departments worked on getting members into cold water rescue suits, getting familiar with scene support and using the RDC to effectively get a person out of the water. Members were able to get training from being in the water and also working off ice that was left in the middle of the water. This type of training helps us stay on our toes, or fins in this case, and always ready to take on any type call that we may encounter.
