On 10/22/2019 at 2036 hours The Liverpool Fire Department, along with mutual aid departments were activated for a tree that fell into a house, and knocked down multiple power lines. Car 1 (Chief Payne) arrived and established command. Engine 1 (FF Baird) arrived on scene, and laid out approximately 500 feet of supply line. Upon Engine 1 pulling up to the scene they had large tree that had fallen into a house, and brought down multiple power lines, along with cable lines down in the roadway/yard of the house. There was a small fire on the tree. Engine 1 crew pulled a 150 foot attack line and stood by on the Bravo side of the house in the neighbors yard. Car 2(D/C Loucks) and Car 3 (D/C Manley) arrived and help coordinate resources from both sides of the wires that were down. Moyers Corners Engine 21 arrived and stood by at the hydrant for Engine 1. Engine 2 (LT Dawley) arrived, and positioned on the other side of the wires at a secondary hydrant. Truck 2(LT. Albanese), Engine 3(FF Johnstone), and Rescue 1 (FF R. Heneka) arrived and stood by with Engine 2. Truck 2 provided scene lighting. Command held with the units on scene. The area was taped off to keep neighbors out of danger. Crews waited on scene until National Grid arrived and secured the power. Once power was secured the house was checked for structural damage and fire. Both were negative. Scene was turned over to National Grid and Law Enforcement. Crews operated for approximately 1 hour.

Multiple residents are without power. National Grid is currently working to restore power. 4th Street is temporarily closed between Hickory St & Outlook St.
