On Saturday October 26 2019, at approximately 1836 hours, the Liverpool Fire Department was dispatched to reports of a basement fire on Old Liverpool Road. Deputy Chief Matt Manley arrived and gave the initial size up. Liverpool Engine 1 (FF Major), arrived and secured a hydrant. Liverpool Rescue 1 (Lt. Schaefer), Liverpool Engine 2 (FF Lyons), Liverpool Rescue 7 (FF Lawrence), and Liverpool M1 (Lt. Santoro), were all on scene. Units found an electrical fire, located at the electrical panel in the basement. Moderate Smoke Conditions in the basement were present, with minor extension to the floor joists. The fire was knocked down quickly with an ABC Extinguisher. Moyers Corners Engine 32 provided negative and positive pressure ventilation with the assistance of Liverpool Engine 2.
