Cold Springs Rd Garage Fire

Just after 7pm Sunday January 12th, the Volunteers of Liverpool along with mutual companies were alerted for a reported garage on fire possibly spreading to the house on Cold Springs Rd, in the Station 1 response area. Engine 1(Capt. Santoro) quickly marked enroute with a crew of four, arrived first due with their own hydrant, and stretched an inch and 3/4 line. Car 1(Manley) arrived reporting a single story detached garage with fire showing reporting a 98 all hands working fire. Truck 2(DC. Warren) arrived second due and assisted Engine 1 with getting two handlines in place knocking down the bulk of the fire while other companies arrived and assisted with opening up and fire suppression. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Onondaga County FIU along with NYSP. No injuries were reported on scene.
