Just after 0330hrs Monday 7/20/2020 while on the way back from our working fire, Seneca River Rescue Pumper 1 came across a working house fire across the street from their fire house. They immediately started the working fire dispatch. Liverpool Car 3(D/C Albanese) went in and out from our fire and arrived as the first Chief in Seneca River. Upon arrival heavy fire was pushing from the back of the residence extending from floor 1 to floor 2. Car 3 had interior operations. Engine 1(Capt. Santoro) went in and out from the first fire and arrived just as crews were making an interior push. Engine 1s crew assisted opening up and extinguishing fire with crews already on scene. Crews were ultimately pulled from the structure due to rapidly deteriorating conditions. Crews worked defensive before going back in and knocking the bulk of the fire down. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
