Yesterday afternoon around 18:00 hours Liverpool was alerted for a vehicle fire at the exit 36 toll booth off the thruway. Car 4 (Laakso) arrived to find a suv with an active engine compartment fire. Engine 2 (Riposo) arrived first quickly stretching the bumper line and putting the fire out. Engine 1 (Pernice) arrived and assisted with opening up. Units were back in service within 25 minutes.
