Six-year-old David Ingram Jr., who’s bravely fighting cancer at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, got a huge surprise today!
Local heroes from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Syracuse Police, Upstate University Police, AMR, and the Liverpool Fire Department drove by the hospital to show their support — and brought along some special get-well goodies for David.

David’s dad, a lieutenant with and President of the Liverpool Fire Department, says his son draws strength and inspiration from the courage of firefighters, EMS, and law enforcement officers during this tough time.
